It kind of sucks since it demands real money for the best stuff, but it's definitely one of the more realistic racing games out there. Money doesn't come easy, and you don't lose half a second off your 1/4 mile just for installing a performance spark plug or some other BS. Best part is it's completely multiplayer, but there are also ways to play alone if you wish. I'm just wondering if any other Jalops play or would like to play. I'm about to start over because it seems my idle account was deleted or something, so yeah.

I used to play it years ago. Recently I tried it again, but saw that none of my tunes worked anymore and that the microtransactions have become extremely obnoxious.

Oh, nice! I don't think I ever got far at all. Best I've done was lie to get gifts. I basically claimed the identity of a real female porn star and flirted with everyone who was convinced. They gave me cars and stuff without question. I even went so far as to contact her (the real one) asking if she was okay with it and, if she thought it was funny enough, if she would consider helping in some way, maybe as a small thank you for the small amount of new fans I was bringing her. Never heard back, but still. It was a pretty effective way to get a ton of free premium cars and upgrades.

It is pretty popular on that game to do that though
A lot have done it before.
I rarely go on the game anyways. I'm almost ready to quit the game altogether but I have a lot into it and with no end gain I'ts pointless for me.

Yeah, it is pretty shitty. That said, I do think it would be awesome if we could get enough people from Oppo into it again. That might make it genuinely fun.

I did enjoy the game back in the day. I think I had 3 or 4 cars total. I definitely remember an Integra, the xB and an Evo.
If we manage to get an Oppo crew together I might be persuaded to try the game again.

Oh, whoa. That's pretty cool.
I suppose if you want, (though I really don't mind if you'd prefer not to help) you could sell a car for next to nothing, buy it back for a shitload of money, and then sell it back for next to nothing again.

I have pretty fond memories of playing this game back in 2008 (?).
